A triangle with exclamation mark indicates:
  • Sync issue: Email couldn’t sync with Gmail. Usually resolves in seconds. Cmd+R to reload.
  • Send failure: Email didn’t go through. Open the thread for error details and retry.
  • Automation error: A trigger encountered a problem. Check Settings > Automations for details.
Tasks past their due date move to the Overdue group in the Tasks panel (p t). They stay visible until you complete, reschedule, or delete them. They don’t auto-archive.
Press p a (two key presses: p then a) or Cmd+Shift+L. Ask questions, draft emails, create automations, search, and manage calendar in natural language. Close with Cmd+. or click outside.
Yes. Settings > Account > Add Account. Switch with Alt+0-9. Each inbox has its own labels, automations, and settings. The AI agent accesses all connected inboxes.
Slashy requires internet for most features. The desktop and web apps cache recent emails for brief offline reading, but you cannot send, search, or use AI features without a connection.
Account info, AI memories, automations, snippets, labels, settings, cached email data, tracking data, and tasks. Slashy does not store your Gmail password — authentication uses Google OAuth. Your emails remain in Gmail. See Data Storage for full details.

Classification improves over time. Move misclassified emails to the correct label with l or v — this trains the model. Accuracy improves significantly by week 3-4. Adjust label descriptions in Settings > Labels for better guidance.
Yes. Same setup process as personal Gmail. If your organization restricts third-party apps, your Workspace admin may need to approve Slashy in the admin console.
The AI processes email content to provide labels, drafts, search, and automations. Slashy does not sell your data, share it for advertising, or use it outside of providing the service. See AI Privacy and the Privacy Policy.

AI & Automations

Accuracy improves as the agent learns your style. In week 1, expect to edit most drafts. By week 3-4, the agent matches your tone for routine replies. Add memories in Settings > Memories to accelerate training — describe your role, writing style, and common phrases.
Yes. Enable Read Mode in Settings > Account to restrict the agent to search, read, and draft only — it cannot send, archive, or modify anything. You can also add a memory like “Always draft for my review, never send directly.” See Agent Autonomy.
Settings > Automations — find the trigger and toggle it off or delete it. Disabled automations keep their configuration so you can re-enable later.
Common reasons: the email or event did not match the trigger condition, the automation was paused, or Read Mode was enabled. Check Settings > Automations for the trigger’s recent activity log.
