Check your internet

Open any website. If it loads, your connection is fine.

Reload Slashy

Cmd+R (web or desktop). Many transient issues resolve with a reload.

Check Gmail directly

Open mail.google.com. If Gmail is slow or down, the problem is Google’s.

Check sync status

Bottom of the sidebar: green = healthy, yellow = catching up, red = connection problem.

Try another browser

If the issue is browser-specific, try an incognito window to rule out extensions.

Current Known Issues

Draft sync delay (Slashy to Gmail)Known limitationDrafts sync every few seconds. Avoid editing the same draft in both places.

Sync Status Indicators

  • Green: All systems normal, real-time sync
  • Yellow: Syncing but behind (normal after being offline or connecting a new account)
  • Red: Cannot reach server — check internet. If working, wait a few minutes and reload
If the indicator stays red for more than 5 minutes with a working internet connection, contact support.

Shortcuts not workingClick the email list area first (shortcuts need inbox focus).
New emails not arrivingCheck sync indicator. Verify email arrived in Gmail. Reload.
Calendar events missingVerify calendar is enabled in Settings > Calendars.
