# How do I connect Slashy to ChatGPT?

> Add Slashy as a custom MCP plugin in a ChatGPT workspace.

ChatGPT can use Slashy to work with your email, calendar, reminders, and contact research. A ChatGPT Business or Enterprise/Edu workspace admin can add Slashy's MCP server as a custom plugin for the workspace.

> [!NOTE]
>
> This guide covers a custom workspace connection. It does not require finding Slashy in the public plugin directory. ChatGPT's [custom MCP server guide](https://help.openai.com/en/articles/12584461-connecting-custom-mcp-servers-in-chatgpt) has the latest plan and admin requirements.

## Connect Slashy

**1. Open Plugins in ChatGPT**

In your ChatGPT workspace, open **Plugins**, select **+**, then **Add custom MCP server**. Your workspace admin or owner may need to do this step.

**2. Enter the Slashy server**

Name the plugin `Slashy`. For the public HTTPS MCP endpoint, enter `https://slashy.ctrlcenter.ai/mcp`. Choose OAuth authentication, then review the tools ChatGPT discovers.

**3. Connect your account**

Follow the sign-in prompt and authorize Slashy with the account whose inbox you want to use. If an admin publishes the plugin to the workspace, each teammate connects their own Slashy account.

**4. Try it in a chat**

Start a new conversation, type `@`, select Slashy, and ask: *"What Slashy tools are available?"* You can then ask ChatGPT to find a thread, prepare a reply, or check your calendar.

ChatGPT may ask you to confirm an action before it changes or sends something. [Using Slashy MCP](https://help.slashy.com/how-to-guides/slashy-mcp-using.md) has example prompts and shows how editable email drafts appear in ChatGPT.
