# Twenty integration

> Connect Twenty to see CRM records beside your email and let the agent look up, update, and add notes to records.

The Twenty integration brings your Twenty CRM into the inbox. Connect once and Slashy shows the matching person, company, and opportunities beside any email, and lets the agent work with your records in plain English.

## Connect Twenty

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open integration settings">
    Press `Cmd+,`, choose Integrations, and scroll to the CRM section.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Connect">
    Click Connect next to Twenty. Sign in and approve the access request. On the desktop app the sign-in opens in your browser and Slashy picks up the connection when you finish.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Confirm">
    Twenty shows as connected in Settings, Integrations, CRM. If the connection ever fails, the card shows the problem and a Reconnect button.
  </Step>

<Note>
  Slashy uses one connected CRM at a time. If you already have HubSpot, Attio, or Salesforce connected, disconnect it before relying on Twenty in the sidebar.
</Note>

## Records in the sidebar

Open any email and the contact sidebar shows the Twenty records that match the sender: the person, their company, and their opportunities. Choose which fields appear in Settings, then CRM, then Sidebar Properties, with separate tabs for People, Companies, and Opportunities.

| Record | Fields shown by default |
| - | - |
| **People** | Name, email, phone, job title, company |
| **Companies** | Name, domain, employees |
| **Opportunities** | Name, amount, stage, close date |

Email is required on People and always stays on.

## What the agent can do

With Twenty connected, ask the agent (`Cmd+/`) to work with your CRM:

| Ask | What happens |
| - | - |
| "Who is this contact in Twenty?" | Looks up the person by email and returns their record, companies, opportunities, and recent notes |
| "Find the Acme company" | Searches people, companies, or opportunities by name, email, or domain |
| "Move the Acme opportunity to Negotiation" | Updates the record |
| "Add Sam to Twenty as a contact at Acme" | Creates the person and links the company |
| "Log a note on this contact summarizing the call" | Adds a note to the person's record |

<Note>
  Creating and updating records and adding notes are blocked when Read Mode is on, so the agent can still look things up without changing your CRM. See [Agent autonomy](/features/ai-agent/autonomy).
</Note>

## Disconnect

Open Settings, Integrations, CRM and click Disconnect next to Twenty. Slashy stops showing records and the agent stops using Twenty. Records and notes already written to Twenty stay there.
